Enable and request a signature on your Plannit quotes

Configure your Plannit account to require an electronic signature from your clients when they accept a quote.

Enabling the feature in settings

For your clients to sign electronically, you must first enable the option in your settings.

Steps to follow:

  1. Log in to your Plannit account.

  2. In the top-right menu, click on the Settings tab (gear icon).

  3. Select the Quotes option.

  4. Find the section Signature and make sure the toggle is enabled (orange).

Client experience on the portal

Once these options are enabled, here’s how the process will work for your client when they receive their quote by email:

  1. The client clicks the link to view the quote online.

  2. When they click the Accept button, a pop-up window titled Accept Quote appears.

  3. The client must add their signature in the designated area (using their mouse or finger on a mobile device).

  4. They then click Confirm.

Note

By signing, the client officially accepts the quote, the associated costs, and your terms and conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can the client erase their signature if they make a mistake?

Yes. As long as they have not clicked Confirm, the client can click the Clear button below the signature area to start over.
