In Plannit, you can attach two types of documents to your jobs, quotes, invoices, work orders/visits, and client messaging:

  • Frequent-use documents you commonly rely on in daily operations, such as warranty types, maintenance instructions, post-work precautions, etc.

  • One-time-use documents that provide additional information specific to this visit, such as inspection photos, plan sketches, and more.

You can also upload photos to Zone intervention reports. Unlike other sections, only photo files can be uploaded here.

📄 Frequent-use Documents

These documents are stored in the Documents tab in Plannit by clicking on + Document. Once added, they are accessible throughout Plannit and by all employees.

How to Attach a Document ?

A list of available documents will appear. Select one of the frequently-used documents you’ve previously added in the Plannit Documents tab.

📄 One-time-use Documents

As the name suggests, this type of document is added only once in a Plannit file, such as a visit. There is no pre-configuration needed for these documents.

How to Upload Files?

You can upload one or multiple documents at once by clicking Browse or by dragging and dropping files into the window.

Adding Documents

The display may vary by section, but the process to add documents remains the same: choose a document already in your Plannit Documents tab or upload new ones from your computer, mobile device, or tablet.

💠 Quotes and Invoices

In the Attachments section, click Attach Document or Upload File.

💠 Work Orders / Visits

First, add the Add Attachment add-on module to enable the attachment feature.

In the Attachments section, click Attach Document or Upload File.

💠 Zone Intervention Report

Click on the "+" symbol to upload one or more photos.

💠 Client Messaging

In client messaging, click the paperclip icon to add a document.
