Just as we do for Facebook and your website, you can connect a functional email account (e.g. [email protected], [email protected]) from which you receive requests in Plannit. This will make it easier for you to respond to requests and convert them into Jobs more quickly.
Once connected, you'll be notified when new requests arrive, and can click on each one instantly to start interactions leading to greater customer satisfaction and/or new business!
Note
Be aware that once connected, ALL emails coming from that address will be redirected into Plannit, which is why we recommend to connect addresses that you receive leads from and not personal emails.
There are 2 steps involved for the email redirection:
Step 1: Ask Plannit to activate the redirection
If you wish to connect an account to which you receive requests in Plannit, send us a request via a New conversation.
Once the redirection has been activated, we'll send you back an e-mail address that you'll need to use in step 2.
Step 2: Configure your email settings
To complete the configuration of your request emails in Plannit, you need to add information to your email settings.
Steps to take if you use Gmail
Locate the settings in your mailbox
Click on View all settings
Click on the Forwarding tab (or sometimes called Forwarding and POP/IMAP)
Click on Add a forwarding address
Enter the e-mail address to be provided by Plannit and click Next
Confirm that you have this address:
Click on the Creating a filter! button
Enter the e-mail address from which your requests originate (e.g. [email protected], [email protected])
Note: You can add other filters to suit your needs.
Click on Create filter
Click on Forward in to and select the e-mail address provided by Plannit, then click on Create filter
Check that everything has been done correctly (you should see what's written in the red rectangle), go to the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab to view or edit the filter.
Now you're ready to start entering Plannit!
