Disable Messenger on Your Facebook Page (Optional)
👉 Use this option if you want all communications to go through Plannit only, with no exceptions.
By default, Facebook displays:
the Messenger chat bubble in the bottom-right corner
the Send Message button
and the ability for customers to contact you directly through Messenger (outside of Plannit)
For some businesses, this creates two separate communication channels to manage.
The steps below explain how to fully disable Messenger so your clients use Plannit exclusively.
Steps to disable Messenger
Open your Facebook Page.
Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
Go to Settings & Privacy.
Select How people can find and contact you.
In the Messaging section, disable the option that allows people to contact your Page through Messenger.
Result
The Messenger button disappears.
The chat bubble no longer appears on the page.
Visitors can no longer send messages via Facebook Messenger.
The only way to contact you from Facebook becomes:
the Contact Us button, which redirects customers to Plannit.
