Once the service is activated, you can offer one or more payment methods in your quotes and invoices.
Processing times
Payment processing with Plannit Pay is divided into 5 steps and three main delays, illustrated below.
The following sections explain the delays associated with each step.
Time for payments to appear in your Stripe account
Represents the time required for the funds to become available in your Stripe account.
Here are the typical delays before the funds appear in your Stripe account:

These delays represent the time required for Stripe to confirm the payment before the funds become available in your Stripe balance.
Stripe payout schedule
Represents how often Stripe sends the available funds from your Stripe account to your bank account.
Once funds are available in your Stripe account, they are included in the next scheduled payout.
⚠️ For new Stripe accounts, the first payout may take between 7 and 14 business days while Stripe performs verification and compliance checks.

📌 By default, Stripe payouts are scheduled every 3 days.
While you can change this to daily payouts or other intervals, we recommend keeping payouts every 3 days or longer. This helps maintain sufficient funds in your Stripe account to process potential refunds or adjustments without delays (your working capital).

Time for payouts to reach your bank account

ℹ️ First payment or first transaction
For new Stripe accounts, the first payout may take up to 14 business days. This delay allows Stripe to perform compliance and security checks.
ℹ️ Variable delays
Processing times may vary depending on the bank, the country, the payment method, and compliance checks.
⚠️ Insufficient funds for Bank Debit
Just like an NSF check, banking institutions may charge additional fees for Bank Debit payments without sufficient funds. Fees vary by bank.
