One-Hour Time Offset in Work Orders / Visit

Windows Daylight Saving Time (DST)

Issue

A one-hour time offset may appear in the Work Order / Visit schedule display in Plannit for a specific user, while other users see the correct times.

This issue usually occurs after a Daylight Saving Time (DST) change and typically affects only one workstation.

Cause

In Windows, the automatic adjustment for Daylight Saving Time depends on the setting Set time zone automatically.

If this option is not enabled, Windows may keep an incorrect time zone configuration, which can cause a one-hour offset in the time display within Plannit.

Resolution

  1. Open Start

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Click Time & Language

  4. Open Date & Time

  5. Enable Set time zone automatically

After enabling this option:

  1. Log out of the Plannit platform

  2. Log back in

The times should now display correctly.
