Easy steps to ensure your technicians never forget to send you their hours

Plannit makes it easy for your technicians to keep track of their hours without having to make notes on post its! With our automated mobile punch, all they will need to do is follow the steps below so you never have to chase around for hours in the future!

For each day, your employees will see:

  • the "Clock in" button to start the timer on their mobile (image 1)

  • the "Break now" and "Restart now" button for breaks (if applicable) (image 2)

  • the "Clock out" button to stop the timer (image 3)

There are a few additional steps to follow by the technician before the timesheet can be completed for you to see the hours automatically populated into your timesheets grid (under "Tools<Timesheets" in the main menu:

  • Edit the hours (if need be) by clicking on the line that needs to be corrected and modify as required (see image 1-2 below)

  • Click on the "Submit" button. When properly done, the employee should see "Submitted" (as per image 3 below)

For each day, you will see:

  • Automatic recording of submitted hours in the Plannit timesheet menu

  • The ability to validate and/or edit as required

  • The option to download the report at the desired frequency for payroll preparation
