Tips for getting started
Before you make your first quote, we recommend that you fill in a few parameters. This will save you time, as the settings information will automatically recur on each of your submissions. The recommended settings are:
How to create a quote
The best way to organize your quotes is to link them to the "job" folder associated with the customer's request. If it hasn't already been created when you received the client's request, create the job folder it by clicking on + Job (see image).
You can then link the quote to it by following the 4 steps you will fin below the image.

You can access the job space from the "Job list", "Quotes", "Invoices", "Visits" or "Contacts" grids in the main menu. For more information on the job space, see How to organize your documents in your jobs.
How to fill the quote
Step 1: Edit the 1. Information section as required (you'll find editing options by clicking on the pencil, calendar and/or arrow icons to access drop-down menus in Plannit as per the below):
Step 2: Add products and services previously created in your products and services catalog in the 2. Items"section (see Products and services list parameters if your items have not yet been created):
Tax calculations will be performed automatically if you have completed the Invoices settings section.
Step 3: If required, modify the payment schedule automatically copied from your settings on this quote in section 3. Payment schedule, by clicking on the payment line (see Sample payment schedules for your quotes to help you):
Once everything is complete, simply send to the customer by clicking on the Send button in the top right-hand corner (desktop version) or on the Actions button, then Send (mobile version):
How your client will receive the quote
Once sent, the status will change from Draft to Sent in the quotes grid of the main menu. Your customer will receive an e-mail that their quote has arrived (see image), and they can view and approve it directly from their secure customer portal, accessible 24/7 and in 1 click:
You'll receive a notification, and the status of the submission will be automatically updated in the submission grid in the main menu to facilitate your follow-ups.
