In some cases, the address marker must be moved on the map (i.e. in the street, in the driveway, etc.) if the work that needs to be done is not exactly at the location of the marker that corresponds to the address (i.e. for the installation of stakes for a snow removal route, for the passage of technicians on a road, etc.).

It is possible to change the position of the marker of the address in Plannit in 2 ways, to better suit your needs, as follows:

Change the location of the marker from your desktop:

From the contact address, click on the "pencil" of the address line that you want to change;

  1. Click on the "Map" tab at the top of the window;

  2. Click on "Satellite" and click on the plus to get closer and see where you want to move the red geolocation marker to;

  3. Click on the marker and move it to the most convenient location to trigger the start of the visit when the service vehicle will enter the radius;

  4. Click "Save".

Change the location of the marker when you are on the premises:

From the contact's address, click on the "pencil" in the address line you want to change and:

  1. Click on the "Map" tab at the top of the window;

  2. Move to the location where you want the geolocation marker;

  3. Click on "Use my location";

  4. Click "Save".

These procedures will ensure that the points appear in the exact spot you want on your route.
