Remember to set up the default parameters for your quotes by referring to the article Quote Settings

Step 1 : Create a Quote Template

From the Quotes tab:

  1. Click + Quote.

  2. Enter the desired name for your quote template in the First Name field.

Ex: Annual Residential Snow Removal Contract 2024-2025

  3. Click Create Quote

  4. Fill in the necessary details for the quote, including:

    • Section 2: Insert product and service items and descriptions required for this quote template.

    • Section 3: Payment schedule, if it differs from the default set in your quote settings.
See: Sample payment schedules for your quotes

    • Section 5: Specific notes for this quote template.

    • Section 6: Terms and conditions specific to this quote template.

  5. Close the window by clicking the X

This template will appear in the Quotes grid with Draft status, ready to be copied.

Step 2 : Create a Quote from the Template

Generate a client quote using the template you just created.

Go to Quotes

  1. Search for the template by name, e.g., Annual Residential Snow Removal Contract 2024-2025

  2. Check the box next to the template name

  3. In the orange bar, select Copy

  4. In the quote creation form, find the name of the client for whom you wish to create the quote, select it on the right, and click Create Quote

The quote, complete with all the template information, will be automatically created and displayed in the quotes grid, ready to be sent to the client for approval.

Notes

Once the quote is created, you can make adjustments as needed without affecting the template.

You can also use the Actions / Open in Client Portal or Actions / Print options to review the document and experience what your client will see.
