NEW FEATURE:

Activate your merchant profile on plannit.io for additional visibility

We are pleased to announce that we have launched a "consumer" destination on plannit.io to allow potential customers looking for your services to find you, using a search by name, type of service or region as follows:

If you choose to activate this option in Plannit, potential customers will have access to your merchant page. By clicking on it, they will be able to see your contact information, the services you offer, your reviews, etc.

Customers who find you will be able to start a communication with you, which will automatically create a new request in your dashboard, with the source of the request:

If you do not want to benefit from this increased visibility, simply disable as follows, from your settings:

Improvement to the payment reminder automation feature (PRO and PREMIUM versions):

For those of you that use the payment reminder automation feature, please note that invoices with balance due of less than $1.00 will NO LONGER be automatically sent to your customers. This will provide a better customer experience and reduce the number of unnecessary questions coming your way.

You will still need to make the necessary adjustments (if required) to balance your accounting entries for these small discrepancies. Here is the procedure

  • Create a negative untaxed "Adjustment" item (i.e. -$0.01) in your list of products and services in your settings;

  • Add this item to the invoice to bring the balance to "0".

Custom fields now available on PDFs and the customer portal (PREMIUM versions)

You are now able to display any of your custom fields in a "public" mode on the customer portal or on your PDFs, which means they will be visible by your clients.

To make a custom field "public", go to:

  • Settings / Custom fields, select the desired filed and click on the pencil to edit.

  • Activate / deactivate the "Private" button according to your needs

As mentioned above, "private" fields will only appear on the form. The "public" fields will be part of the printed documents and will be visible in the customer portal and /or PDFs.
