When should you delete an invoice

  • When your "draft" invoice was generated in error

  • When the client rejects your quote and the "draft" invoice had already been generated

Note: It is possible to delete any type of invoice except paid invoices. Deleting an invoice removes all trace of it in Plannit and in QB if this is your accounting integration. It is therefore your responsibility to note any traces of deleted invoices that had a number.

How to delete an invoice:

  1. Select the invoice to open the window and click on "Actions";

  2. Select "Delete".

NOTE: An invoice with a paid status can only be cancelled, and to do so it is necessary to cancel the payments first.
