The following are examples of invoice payment schedules to illustrate common scenarios for our clients. Before you start you can refer to this section to understand the fields in the payment schedules.
Example 1: 1 invoice with 1 payment (example with a payment due at a date to be planned in the future)
By default, the schedule in the invoice settings corresponds to 1 invoice with 1 payment. By clicking on the payment line, you can customize by following steps 2 (select "to be planned in this case), 3 and 4 below.
Example 2: 1 invoice with 1 down payment at billing date and a payment at the end of the work
Add the 2nd payment in the calendar
Edit following steps 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Click to adjust the information for the 1st payment (if needed) and edit by following steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 below.
Example 3: 1 invoice with multiple payments (example with 4 equal payments at a fixed date)
Add the desired number of payments
Edit each payment by following steps 2, 3, 4 and 5.
