Plannit offers an SMS option to reach your customers more easily and get approvals, responses or payments faster.

To be able to send communications to your customers by SMS, you must first have Plannit activate the SMS functionality. Simply send us a request via the chat in the Plannit Help button.
How much does the SMS option cost
The SMS option is available for $25 per month for every 500 SMS used during the month. We charge as follows :
The first $25 is billed when you subscribe to the service, for the coming month.
In the event that your usage exceeds 500 text messages in a month, you will be billed $25 for each additional 500 text messages in the month following usage.
How to activate the option for customers
Once we've received your payment, we will unlock the feature for you. To access it simply :
Go to Settings<Company and click on SMS Notifications (see red arrow)
This will automatically activate SMS notifications for all your new contacts. It is always possible to disable SMS for a contact (see below).
To disable SMS, simply send us a request via the chat in Plannit's Help button.
How to customize sending preferences for your customers
If you activate SMS after having already created contacts in Plannit, you'll simply need to :
Add a cell phone number (select Mobile among the types)
In the Notification preferences section at the bottom of the page, check the box for SMS notifications.
If the 2 boxes are checked, the customer will receive an e-mail AND an SMS to notify him of a new communication from you, for each type of sending. The How to control SMS dispatches section shows you how to manage SMS communications.
How customers will receive text messages
Customers will receive a text message inviting them to access the customer portal to approve/pay/communicate with you more quickly.
How to control SMS messages
The following communications are sent by SMS from Plannit:
Sending documents from the send window.
Messages sent via client messaging.
Automatic reminders for overdue quotes and invoices.
Mass messages sent to all customers when a route is started.
Here's how some of these communications can be activated/deactivated as required.
