A started route cannot be modified until it is completed. However, you might need to add tasks/visits to a technician during the day (i.e. emergency work, new customer in the same area as the route, etc.).
Plannit allows you to add a visit to your technician's day in real time, while waiting to make the modification to the route once it is completed, here's how :
From the Job tab, create a new job if it is a new customer (or search for the existing job if it is an existing customer) :
Create a new visit by clicking on + Visit
Choose the employee you want to assign the visit to in Resource.
Notify your employee in the Internal Comments section at the bottom of the visit with "@employee name" to select him/her and leave message. Your employee will be notified on the bell.
Note
We suggest that you mention in the comment that your technician must leave the road to see the new visit in My day (see example below)
Technician's point of view :
By clicking on the tile the technician will be able to see the information of the visit.
Important
When the route is complete, it is important to add the visit directly to the route so that the visits all end up in the same place for future trips.
