Here are the main highligths of our February 28, 2023 release:

Improvement and new features include:

Improved navigation on your mobile:

You can now navigate between your “dashboard” (1), your day “today” (2) and your calendar “calendar” (3) just with a swipe.

Improvements to the "Help" (messenger/chat button) experience

  • The "Help" menu is now accessible through the 3 lines at the top left of the mobile

  • We have added the option to remove the blue "Messenger" icon from your screen by clicking the red toggle at the bottom of the main menu.

New navigation on your mobile:

You can now navigate between your “dashboard” (1), your day “today” (2) and your calendar “calendar” (3) just with a swipe.

Profit calculation on quotes and invoices

We have added a "Profit" field to section 2 of invoices and quotes (see below). This field automatically calculates the difference between the cost price and the cumulative selling price of items on the same document:

The profit calculation requires you to insert the cost in the "cost price" field in each of the items in your "Products and Services Catalog" settings:

Automated statement of account

It is now possible to produce a statement of account in one clic: see How to produce a statement of account for more details

This feature will automatically generate a PDF statement (see example below) for all outstanding invoices for the same customer. See "How to generate a statement".

Create Article; How to generate a statement (Invoices FAQ)

You can generate a statement in 2 ways in Plannit:

  • From the "Invoices" tab: the red bar will appear after checking off the outstanding invoices (see below).

See How to use the filters to help you make your selection if needed.

  • From the contact: by opening the customer contact and clicking on the "Invoices" icon, then clicking on "Actions" (all outstanding invoices will appear on the statement):

Once sent, your client will see the summary in PDF by clicking on the file in his client space (see example below). They can then open each invoice in the portal and pay them directly with Plannit Pay (see how to connect to PlannitPay ) or send you another type of payment.

Modify the terms and conditions of invoices or bids

You can now modify terms and conditions in batch on a selection of invoices and/or quotes with 1 click. See How do I change the terms and conditions on a given number of invoices/quotes.

  • From the grid (invoices or quotes), select the documents to be modified by clicking in the boxes (see How to sort"). The "Terms and Conditions" option will appear and you can make the changes and then click "OK".

NOTE: This will not affect the "defaults" of the Terms and Conditions listed in your settings.

Custom fields:

This new feature allows you to create additional fields of information that you would like to add in "contact", "job", "visit", "quotes" and "invoice". This feature allows for taking quick notes, keeping track of important information, assigning task lists, etc. Here is how to create custom fields

See how to make a custom field

We made a example for each type of field:
